Bespoke items from The Earnhart Company are a direct collaboration between designer and client, with your commission coming to life using only the the highest levels of design theory and manufacturing techniques available. Unlike base models, which are made to order from existing templates, bespoke models start with a pencil and paper—partly in metaphor, but often the reality.

Bespoke options at The Earnhart Company are for the musician who wishes to control every element of their performance, from function to aesthetic.
1. Our design process starts with a consultation. We'll sit down and get to know you at the Rochester studio or online (in some cases). Learning who you are as an artist is critical in the design process—seeing goals in perspective orients the process to create something together that looks and sounds uniquely you.
2. Once we understand your goals, we move to measurement and design. Walk across the hall and you will be immersed in measurements of your unique sound using the house standard protocol. Taking your feedback, thoughts, and needs and merging it with live computational analysis, we'll design a near-perfect fit—all you have to do is play.
3. As you travel home, your prototype is cued in the production studio. Here, your mouthpiece is manufactured using a perfect blend of digital precision and artisanal mastery. We keep all designs on file forever so you never have to worry.
4. Within 6-8 weeks, your mouthpiece will be presented to you for a second fitting. If you aren't local to New York, or your performance schedule doesn't allow time for a visit, we can ship your mouthpiece to you. Here, we will make small adjustments as needed, refining comfort and and honing your sound concept exactly as you require.
5. Your mouthpiece is finalized, then packaged and ready for you. Receive your mouthpiece in-person or have it shipped.
